FAQ

Q: How do I reserve a guest slip at Benicia Marina?

Please call or leave a message at 707-745-2628 with your name, dates, boat type and length.

Q: What is required to rent a slip?

To become a long term berther we require ID, insurance, and current registration. First and last month's rent is due at signing, with a 30 day notice required when you vacate. If your boat is older than 1990 we require a recent photo of vessel. All vessels must be operational (cannot be towed), have a working head tank, and not be constructed of wood. No houseboats or exceptions.

Q: Are There Liveaboard Slips Available?

California Law limits our number of liveaboard slips. The waiting list as of Q4 2024 is currently approximately 1yr, depending on a lot of factors such as vessel size. Call for info.

Q: What is the depth of the marina?

The marina is dredged every Fall. The main entrance and turning basin are dredged to 8 feet at mean low (zero) tide. The slips are dredged o na rotating basis to six feet. If coming in at a zero or negative tide be aware. The mud on the marina floor is very forgiving with no rocks, very silty.
